Day 01 : BANGKOK
Lunch and dinner included - Night in Bangkok - your international flight should arrive before 8am.
You will be welcomed at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport by our local team and your English speaking guide and transfer by air-conditioned vehicle to the city center. Upon arrival in Bangkok, you'll check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to refresh yourself. Then you will have lunch on the banks of the Chao Phraya. You will then discover the canals of Buri Tho and descend the majestic Chao Phraya River to the slow rhythm of the heavy boat.
You will discover the rural part of Bangkok by speed canoe, visit a traditional Thai style wooden house. In the evening you can admire the Siam Niramit, a fantastic show in theater comparable to major Broadway productions. The show depicts the most striking aspects of the Thai culture. Different regions are shown there, as well as Buddhism or secular traditions of Siam.
Then board on the Grand Pearl Dinner Cruise to enjoy an evening in Bangkok on the Chao Phraya. This dinner cruise takes you on the River of Kings in romantic rhythm of traditional Thai dances while you enjoy an excellent dinner buffet in the air conditioned room of the ship. Later, after dinner you can enjoy unforgettable views of the river banks dotted by illuminated temples and palaces.

Day 02 : BANGKOK –MEKHALA CRUISE - AYUTTHAYA

Breakfast at hotel. Visit of the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew (Emerald Buddha temple). You will stroll among the unusual buildings from the founding of Bangkok. Admire the beautiful wall of the epic Indian Ramayana (Thai Version "Ramakien").
Your guide will explain you the Siamese History and help you to better understand its beliefs. Visit the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, the main chapel of this temple houses an impressive statue of 30 meters long, gold leaf and representing a reclining Buddha. You will cruise the legendary Mekhala on the "River of Kings" (Bangkok - Ayutthaya). There is no better way to experience the traditional lifestyle of Thais than by cruising along the legendary Chao Phraya River. During this two-day cruise on the "Mekhala", you will travel through time to discover the rich history of Thailand. You will observe the magnificent Royal Palace and the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun), gradually skyscrapers will disappear and you will observe rural life along the river. In the afternoon, stop in Pathum Thani to visit a market where locals buy food, fresh products and a variety of Thai sweets.

Start the day with a visit to the small village of Baan Saladang, an ancient community that migrated from Burma to this area in the early 19th century. Here villagers have maintained their traditional lifestyle and their customs and natural environments. In this charming village you will also see a collection of traditional well-preserved Thai houses. Then, a delicious breakfast will be served on the Mekhala. Later in the morning, you will disembark to reach Bang-Pa-In and visit the Summer Palace.
You will stop at a local restaurant where you can enjoy a lunch buffet, served in a pleasant setting on the banks of a river bordering the island of Ayutthaya. The last capital of Siam is located few hundred kilometers north of Bangkok. Before its sack by the Burmese in the late 18th century, Ayutthaya was the most important city in South Asia. At its height in the 17th century, the court of King Narai had diplomatic and trade relations with many countries in Asia and Europe, including France.
Louis XIV received the ambassadors of Siam in Versailles, while the emissaries of the Roi Soleil resided in Ayutthaya. You will visit the ruins of the main temples and chedis of the old and prestigious city of Ayutthaya to learn an important page in the history of Siam. Day 04 : CHIANG MAI

Breakfast at hotel. Start your day by one of the most famous temples of the city culminating at over 1,000 meters above sea level, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which offers views over the city and the surrounding countryside. A staircase of 290 steps along a row of Naga (access by cable car also available) leads to this temple, from 1383 with at its top golden Chedi protecting Buddha relics attracting pilgrims from whole world. In the afternoon enjoy a bike ride in the old city center and visit three style Lanna temples: Wat Phra Singh, Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Chiang Man. You will discover the most important Buddhist temples in the city. Some were built in the 13th century and are not to be missed. You will also discover the remains of the fortifications of the ancient city.
Walk through the colorful market 'Warorot'. You will find traditional Indigo clothing, spices, fresh or dried food, and the delicate fragrance of flower market between Warorot and the Ping River. If time allows you can experience BaanTawai, a village of wooden sculptures. There you can find handcrafted products made by skilled craftsmen. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 05 : CHIANG MAI – CHIANG DAO – DOI ANG KHANG PARC NATIONAL – CHIANG RAI

Breakfast at hotel, then transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle from Chiang Mai to Chiang Dao Caves in Ban Tham. Then discovery of Doi Luang Chiang Dao, the limestone mountain in the shape of a cone is in the Chiang Dao Wildlife Reserve and amounts to 2,195 meters, making it the third highest peak in the country. The Akha are a small minority, which does not exceed 3% of all the country's minorities. From Tibet, they are the last to arrive hill tribe. They live on the summits above 1300 m, and have largely resisted assimilation. Akha women wear very decorated headdresses, beaded and small silver balls. There are approximately 40,000 Yao in Thailand. From China, they are still influenced by Chinese culture, and are the only group to keep written marks of their history and their culture. The long necks stretched by the rings of Padaung women are known worldwide.
The Padaung are a very small minority, and are the most recent immigrants in Thailand. The cultural and artistic Mae Fah Luang Park concentrates one of the largest collections of Lanna Thai antiques, some objects are dated from several hundred years. Visitors can also take the opportunity to admire, near the Doi Tung Royal Villa built in 1990 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the late Princess Mother, the beautiful flower garden Mae Fah Luang and the exposure of the Hall of Inspiration which restores the history of the Mahidol family. Then continue to Mae Salong, a village in the clouds in the middle of the Golden Triangle.
This place offers splendid panoramic views all around. This tour will take you in the footsteps of KMT soldiers whose descendants are the present inhabitants of Mae Salong. Mae Sai is the northernmost town in Thailand. It is one of three crossing points between Thailand and Myanmar (Burma). Like all border towns, it is an important trade center. There are many markets with products from Myanmar.
The first thing you see upon arriving is the incredibly wide road that runs north-south through the city and ends at the bridge over the river and allows access to Burma. On the way, visit Ban Sop Ruak which meet the borders of three countries: Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. Visit the Opium Museum and cruise on the Mekong River at the crossroads of three countries. Discover the fortified town of Chiang Saen, former capital of the Thai kingdom Yonok (built from 1419), with remains of 70 temples including Wat Paa Sak and museum. Swim among tropical fishes in the famous Maya Bay and visit some hidden beaches and bays of these beautiful tropical islands. You will stop at the 'Monkey Beach', 'Koh Samah' and 'Pileh'. There, in 1920, King Rama VII built a summer palace, creating the vogue of Hua Hin as a favorite retreat of the Thai aristocracy during the summer heat of Bangkok. Breakfast at hotel. Then, drive to Hua Hin Vineyards for a tasting in a tropical vineyard, in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains. This valley was once a place where wild elephants were domesticated. Now it is a large vineyard, owned by Siam Winery. The company has developed several products and has a number of vineyards in Thailand. The varieties grown mainly in Hua Hin are Shiraz and Chenin Blanc from France and Australia. The production of this valley is known as the Monsoon Valley, mainly distributed in Thailand but also abroad.
First, you will enjoy the landscape and will walk in the area. Then you will be served tasting plate with 2 different miniatures of local dishes.
