Day 01: BANGKOK – NAKHON RATCHASIMA - PHIMAI – NAKHON RATCHASIMA
Free lunch and dinner – night at Nakhon Ratchasima – arrival in Bangkok before 8am – 6,h drive
You are welcomed to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport by our local team and your English speaking guide and transferred by air-conditioned vehicle to Nakhon Ratchasima, also called Khorat. Drive through the Khorat Plain in the Northeast Provinces. Stop to admire the panoramic view of the great Lamtaklong Lake.
Lunch in Khorat. Drive to the Khmer temples. 20 km north of Khorat, we make a first stop at Prasat Hin Phamonwan, Hindu temple. About 25km away, Ban Prasat, the oldest archaeological site in the region with pottery and ceramics.
Some of the most beautiful items from Isan temples are displayed in the National Museum of Phimai. The modern building houses Baan Prasat ceramics, sculptures, jewellery, tools, and a presentation of Khmer Art. Visit the Historic Site of Phimai and the Museum. The park consists of a courtyard where the main sanctuary houses a replica of a sculpture of the Buddha under a Naga. According to the legend, the Buddha meditated while it was raining so strong that the king decided to protect him.

Day 02: NAKHON RATCHASIMA – PHANOM RUNG – MUANG TAM – BURIRA
Free lunch and dinner – night at Buriram - 3,5h drive
Breakfast at hotel. Discovery of the National Museum of Maha Wirawong, in front of the City Hall, in the grounds of Wat Sutthachinda. The museum contains collections of carved wooden objects, ceramics and sandstone statues dating from the Khmer and Ayutthaya periods. Transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Phanom Rung.
Drive to the south and stop in Dan Kwian, a potter’s village. Then, another village: Pak Thong Chai, famous in Thailand for silk weaving. Visit of Wat Phanom Rung, this temple dominates the surrounding plain and gives the impression to reach heaven.
Free lunch. After this break, we resume the road to the east, along the border with Cambodia and through small villages and crops. We will stop in Prasat Ta Muen Thom, these three small buildings are located in the jungle on the border between Thailand and Cambodia. Drive to Ta Muen Thom. Free dinner.

Day 03: BURIRAM – PRASAT SI KHORAPHUM –THA TUM VILLAGE - SURIN
Free lunch and dinner – night at Surin
Breakfast at hotel. Wat Ra Ngaeng is a small temple located in Si Khoraphum about 30 km away from Surin. Visit of Prasat Si Khoraphum: this small Khmer temple is located in Sikhoraphum. It was built in the 12th century for Hindu worship. The temple was converted to be used by the Buddhists in the 16th century.
Free lunch. Visit an elephant’s village in Tha Tum: member of the "Save Elephant Foundation", the "Elephant Study Center" is a center for elephant conservation. The exhibition of the National Museum in Surin can be divided into five themes: natural sciences, history, archaeology, ethnology and local heritage, which allow you to discover the history of Province and way of life of its various ethnic groups. City walk and free dinner (suggestion in a small Isan traditional restaurant).

Day 04: SURIN – KANTHARALAK - UBON RATCHATHANI
Free lunch and dinner – night at Ubon Ratchathani - 5h drive
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Kantharalak. Free lunch. Visit Khao Preah Vihear, a "Jewel of Khmer Art", perched on a cliff overlooking the surrounding plains, the temple of Khao Phra Viharn with various architectural styles. Unlike traditional Khmer temples, it is rectangular and oriented to the east, Khao Phreah Vihear follows a North-South axis and is spread over a length of about 800 m. It constitutes itself as a symbolic representation of Mount Meru, axis of the world and home of the gods.
After the visit, transfer to Ubon Ratchathani

Day 05: UBON RATCHATHANI – CHONG MEK (EMERALD TRIANGLE) – KHONG CHIAM – PHA TAEM
Free lunch and dinner – night at Kong Chiam - 30 min drive
Breakfast at hotel. Then discovery of Supattanaram Temple and Wat Thung Sri Muang, building with stunning architecture perfectly marrying Thai, Laotian and Burmese styles. Then visit the National Museum. This beautiful place is home to three of the oldest stones engraved with the country. Then visit Chong Mek, a small town on the border with Laos. After a break on the edge of Mekong River, drive to the Kaeng Tana National Park, just 13km south of Khong Chiam. Stop at Kaeng Tana to see its beautiful waterfalls.
Lunch during the visit. Then transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Pha Taem National Park to discover some of its 300 rock paintings spread over nearly 200 meters. Nice walk into perspective rewarded with a breath-taking view at the top over Laos. Then, cruise on the Mekong River to Khong Chiam, very friendly small town situated at the confluence of the Mun River and Mekong.

Day 06: KHONG CHIAM – MUKDAHAN – ROI ET
Free lunch and dinner – night at Roi Et - 7h drive
Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Mukdahan. Continue north through beautiful mountains. Lunch at a local restaurant with a beautiful view over the Friendship Bridge linking Thailand to Laos. Then, visit a traditional Lao-Isan village located on the Korat Plain.
Mukdahan has ancient sites of an unusual style architecture and beautiful landscapes such as waterfalls, forests and beautiful beaches like Kaeng Kabao. The mythical Mekong River has various places with cave paintings marking the "prehistoric" presence of human beings.
Transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Roi Et. Its vast plains of Thung Kula Rong Hai, formerly wasteland have been transformed into productive and fertile agricultural lands. This is one of the areas of Thailand where they produce a high quality rice. The capital of the province experienced a relatively recent development, its main attraction remains its largest artificial lake "Bueng Phalan Chai" in the middle of which there is an island containing a recreation centre. Beyond the beaten track, Roi Et gives the opportunity to experience the life and culture of the northeast of Thailand. The King's aquarium contains a large variety of aquatic animals in the Isan region. Visit Wat Buraphaphiram. The temple is distinguished by its Buddha statue of Luang Pho Yai. This 59m high statue is the largest image of the Buddha Thailand.

Day 07: ROI ET – KHON KAEN - UDON THANI
Free lunch and dinner – night at Udon Thani- 5h drive
Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Khon Kaen. Regional center and university town, despite its status as a modern city, Khon Kaen has an interesting historical past dating back to prehistoric times, as evidenced by the first dinosaur fossils in Thailand discovered on site. Visit the Khon Kaen Museum which features large beautiful exhibits on ancient civilizations, objects found in the North-East from the prehistoric Ban Chiang civilization and art of the Khmer period. Visit of Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakhon, very pleasant place to walk by the lake in the city center.
Free lunch. Drive to Baan Chiang to visit the archaeological site, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1992. The site is divided into two parts: the Ban Chiang National Museum which displays prehistoric artefacts and outdoor excavations. Then, visit the Udon Thani farm Orchid "Udorn Sunshine", where are cultivated and sold a variety of new fragrant Thai orchid. This unique hybrid is the first orchid in the world used to create fragrances.

Day 08 : UDON THANI – NONG KHAI – VIENTIANE (LAOS)
Free lunch and dinner – night at Ventiane - 1.5h drive
Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Nong Khai. Transfer to the Friendship Bridge between Thailand and Laos, customs, Vientiane city tour.
Lunch during the visit. Visit the fruit and vegetable market of Talat Kua Din and Talat Sao. Discovery of the beautiful Wat Sisaket, Wat Phra Keo built in 1565 to house the famous Emerald Buddha, the Pha Tat Luang, the symbol of the nation, a masterpiece of Lao architecture, triumphal arch erected in memory of war victims. Free dinner. Chao Anouvong Park is a city park in Vientiane located in the heart of the city, next to the banks of the Mekong River and the Presidential Palace in Vientiane where you can admire the majestic statue of King Chao Anouvong.

Day 09 : VIENTIANE – VANG VIENG
Free lunch and dinner – night at Vang Vieng - 3h drive
Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Vang Vieng. Stop at Vang Sang which has 10 high reliefs of Buddha from 16th century.
Free lunch. During the afternoon, down the river by canoe to enjoy the beautiful karst rock landscapes. Visit local markets. Free dinner. Overnight in Vang Vieng
Day 10 : VANG VIENG – LUANG PRABANG
Free lunch and dinner – night at Luang Prabang - 4h drive
Breakfast at the hotel, then morning transfer to Luang Prabang, a World Humanity Heritage by UNESCO, considered as "the best preserved city".
