07 :00, meet your guide in the lobby and transfer to the pier for embarking on speedboat to Cu Chi Tunnels (shared boat), which are parts of a massive war museum in the northwest of the city. Visiting the huge network of connecting underground tunnels including trapdoors, constructed living areas, storages, weapon factories, hospitals, and kitchens. The tunnels began being dug from 1948 by Communist forces to protect Viet Cong. Touring the underground compounds will provide a better understanding of the history of the tunnels, the hardship of life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese resilience during combat. Enjoy your lunch at a local riverside before transfering back to Saigon.
13 :00, arrival at Saigon for activities on the evening. Despite its modernity, Saigon maintains a strong link to the past and our city tour takes in some of Saigon’s most historic buildings.
Take a short ride to the former Presidential Palace, the headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American War. Continue your tour at Notre Dame Cathedral with the main materials were red bricks imported from France (entrance is only permitted when no services are being performed).Then walk to the Central Post Office, which is located on the opposite, completed in 1891. Transferring back to your hotel for refreshment.
18:30, meet your guide in the lobby and depart for your tour around Saigon on vintage Vespa. The darker the night gets, the more vivid Saigon becomes. Get ready for a fascinating ride by vintage Vespa tonight to discover busy Saigon after sunset, together with delightful local food tasting in the most authentic local restaurant. All of the local food are carefully hand-picked by our food experts, from the most rustic one like bread rolls or grilled rice paper, to more sumptuous plates of local seafood, from traditional Vietnamese desserts to the coffee and signature cocktails tucked away at the back of a quiet alley.

08 :30, meet your guide in early morning departure from Saigon for 2hr drive to Vinh Long market. Downstream on Mekong River and see floating fishing villages. Visit brick factory where you can see how the local people create beautiful clay potteries. Then, visit a local workshop to learn how to make coconut candy, pop-rice etc.
Walk to visit the orchard & traditional house of Ut Trinh family. Here, we will enjoy some kinds of fruits and tea while listening to the traditional music. Have your lunch at the homestay.
After lunch, take a cycling along narrow village alley, passing through fruit orchards ; observe the local daily life. Back to the boat cruising to Tan Phong island for a rowing boat on smaller canals back to Cai Be pier in town.
Around 16:00, transfer back to your hotel in Saigon.

08 :00, meet your guide in the lobby and transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, please proceed to exit gate and look for your guide who will escort you to city tour lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, depart for your city tour. Tour the city of Hanoi, with preserved colonial buildings and scenic lakes. Stop at a local cafe located in the Old Quarter to take a cup of local coffee and get observing daily life of Hanoian. Then, visit outside the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Tour the One Pillar Pagoda, a Buddhist temple, which was built in 1049 of wood, in the shape of a lotus blossom rising from one pillar in the centre of square pond. Take a short walk to Ho Chi Minh's House nearby, a simple wooden house in a tranquil setting where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked. Continue on to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the late 11th century. Continue to Tran Quoc Pagoda, which is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi and located on a small island in West Lake. Conclude the tour with visiting to Taoist Quan Thanh Temple built in 11th century.

09:00, meet your guide in the lobby and take 30-minute ride to the countryside of Hanoi for meeting with a water puppet artisan. Mr. Liem Phan, who was born into a family with a tradition of creating and performing water puppetry, acquired a passion for this folk art in his childhood. Sit down for a cup of tea and hear his stories about the origins of water puppets, and how he travelled to bring Vietnamese culture onto the international stage (20 minutes).
Then join a 30-minute puppet show at his private mini water puppet stage on the top floor of his house. You may also put yourself into the artisan’s role and learn how to handle the puppets in the water or make the puppets under the construction of the artisan (around 30 minutes). Enjoy a lunch hosted by the artisan and his family.
After lunch, transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. The remainder is free at leisure.

08:30, meet your guide in the lobby and depart to take the highway to Got Ferry. 11:30, arriving at the ferry, take your refreshment enjoy special tea at Peony Cruise’s lounge by warm welcome. Transfer by tender to the Peony Cruise, embark on board and then check in. Receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Ha Long Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
The boat proceeds to Da Chong islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago. We have lunch before continuing our journey via the islets of Con Vit and Gia Luan. These amazing limestone karst formations rise-up out of the sea in an impressive manner. This area is untouched, as not many cruise ships use the route via the Cat Ba Island - Thoi Quyt area - Coc Ngoi islet.
We progress to Trung Trang cave by our bus on Cat Ba island which is located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao forest around the cave.
Peony Cruise gets in the less populated area at Tra Bau located in Lan Ha Bay. You will enjoy the green emerald and cool water by swimming. Returning to the cruise, you can watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Onboard you may join a traditional cooking class.
19:30, enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. This is a delightful meal in an intimate romantic setting.

Rise early to witness the bay at its very best whilst enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck; after which we serve light breakfast. Upon completing breakfast continue our journey and head out in local boat to explore the bay in the area where the Sang Toi cave is situated.
09:30, return to the cruise for check out process and enjoy a delightful brunch and Tea ceremony.
10:30, return to the quay side in the south of the bay.
