At 8am, your english-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel.
Departure in a private car to visit Doi Suthep Temple.
The hill that bears its name is dominated by a splendid temple, the Wat Phrathat, at 1,000 meters of altitude. It is reachable by climbing 350 steps framed by serpents and giant porcelain dragons.
Your afternoon will be dedicated to the visit of the old town.

You will visit :
Wat Chedi Luang, which consists of an impressive chedi originally built in 1411.
Nearby is situated the Wat Phan Thao, whose viharn is built entirely of teak wood.
Wat Pra Singh, which owes its reputation to Pra Singh (Lion Buddha); The most revered Bouddha status of the city.
The Warorot market, also called "Kad Luang" in the local dialect, to discover the local life of Chiang Mai.
The Market Warorot is situated on the banks of the River Ping and a stone's throw from the flower market.
This walk will take you through the biggest and oldest market of Chiang Mai.
You will walk with the help of your guide through its many stalls of traditional Lanna textiles, its fruits and vegetables, its stalls of typical dishes of the North region.
History, anecdotes and scenery will be the key words of this walk.

After your breakfast, at around 07h30, you english-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel.
Then, you will be transferred to Doi Inthanon National Park. (about 2h drive).
Situated on the highest summit in Thailand, Doi Ithanon is a national park full of waterfalls and mountain forests. Dedicated to the fauna and flora protection, it is also a place for customs and traditions.
You will do a first stop in Kew Mae Paan for a quick hiking on a natural path during approximately 2 hours. Halfway, you will be in the meadows offering a view of the town of Mae Chaem.
Then, you will go to the point called “ the highest summit in Thailand”. Then, you will do a quick stroll on the natural paths of Angka where trees and ground are covered by moss.
Then, you will head to Mae Chaem for a visit of the Huay Zai Lueang waterfall and Mae Paan.
To reach the waterfall, you will do a small walk during approximately 15 minutes on a small trail.

After your breakfast, departure to Mae Hong Son (about 3h30 drive).
You will do a first stop in Khun Yuam to visit the War Museum, exhibiting an interesting collection of militery equipments and photographs of World War II. It traces the history of the imperial troops of the Japanese army in Khun Yuam, during the construction of a road intended to cross Burma towards India.
The mountain road of Mae Hong Son is full of small Hmong villages. Visit of one of them.
Your afternoon will be dedicated to the discovery of Mae Hong Son and its temples.
You will visit:
- Wat Chong Kham, the oldest temple in the city dating from the early 19th century.
- Wat Chong Klang, decorated with its huge white and golden chedi and known for its 200 paintings of painted glasses depicting scenes from the tales of Jataka.
- Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, guardian of the city. You will admire sunset.

After your breakfast, continuation by road to the chinese village, Ban Rak Thai ; border-village between Thailand-Burma (about 1hour drive)
On the way, you will have the possibility to make stops to visit some villages and the Pha Sua Waterfall.
Ban Rak Thaï is a small chinese village situated in the mountain of Mae Hong Son.
Its inhabitants live of tea production.You will find a small school, small shops of tea products, vegetables and dry fruits.
Then you will depart to the Huay Dua pier to take a local pirogue to the Poo Kaeng Village where the Padaungs well-known for their brass-colored spiral necklace surrounded the women's neck, also called the " Giraffe Women ".
After the visit, you will take the boat to join your driver.

After your breakfast, you will visit the local market of Mae Hong Son before to continue by road to Tham Lod (about 2hour drive).
Along the way to Tham Lod, you will find lots of small villages. Visit of Ban Jabo village where the black Lahu live.
Your afternoon will be dedicated to the visit of the Tham Lod caves.
You will visit by bamboo raft, the famous Tham Lod cave full of dazzling limestone formations and prehistoric vestiges. The river running through the cave is full of fish.
Thanks to this visit you will have the opportunity to also hike in the forest to discover fauna and flora.
Transfer to your hotel in Pai.

Visit of the Prathat Mae Yen Temple, the sacred temple of the city. From the Big Buddha you will have a panoramic view of the city.
Continuation by road to Chiang Mai (about 3h).
Along the way, visit of the hot spring of Pong Duad Pa Pae.
You will take a stroll of about 800 meters through the forest to reach it. Arrival at the hot spring here you will see the hot water rising from the ground and notice a hot sulfur smell.
If you wish, you can enjoy a small moment of relaxation in the hot pool (pool fee and towel at your expense)
Then, stop at the Mok Fah waterfall located in Doi Suthep – Doi Pui National Park.
After about a 10-minute walk, you will arrive at the waterfall. Time for relaxation and swimming.
