Day 01 : Siem Reap


Morning arrival at Siem Reap Airport.

Welcome by your local English speaking guide and transfer to the hotel. Transfer to your hotel for a presentation of the trip you will mostly do without a guide. He will give you the necessary documents including your itinerary and a mobile phone to reach us if needed. End of the day free at leisure to enjoy the swimming pool of the hotel.

Suggestion depending on your arrival time, you could visit by foot or by Tuk-Tuk :

Wat Bo Pagoda: With more than 200 years of history this pagoda is famous for its murals recounting the life of Buddha.

- Panorama Museum: Discover unique pieces exhibited in an unusual way for a greater understanding of the great Khmer Empire.

Ancient Market: Have a stroll through the colorful stalls and observe the culinary preferences of Cambodians.

Day 02 : SIEM REAP – Angkor

Biking day! You will leave Siem Reap to discover the archaeological park on paved roads lined with century-old trees. You will start by visiting the most romantic temple of the archaeological site of Angkor, Ta Prohm. This temple has been left, partly in its natural state in order to preserve the sight that the discoverers had when they revealed Angkor to the West. The Kapok Tree roots embed the stone blocks. Visit this temple before entering Angkor Wat through the East Gate, away from the tourist flow. Angkor Wat is the most prestigious monument of the Khmer art whose dimensions are comparable to the forbidden city of Beijing.

Lunch in a local restaurant onsite.

Thanks to your electric bike you will reach the ancient capital of Angkor Thom which spreads out on a total area of 9 km2. You will discover the Bayon, a mountain temple built by the Buddhist king Jayavarman VII whose faces of the 54 towers reproduce the famous Angkor smile and which constitutes the geometric center of Angkor Thom, the Baphuon, a royal temple built in the middle of the 11th century Then you will continue by foot to reach the royal palace, its temple the Phimeanakas, and you will get to discover the terraces of the elephants and of the so-called leper king.

Day 03 : Siem Reap - Banteay Srei – Kbal Spean - Beng Mealea 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Your driver will wait for you in front of the hotel to drive you through the countryside to reach the small temple of Banteay Srei, carved in fine decorations and considered jewels of the Khmer art of the 10th century. 13Km away from there you will reach the site of Kbal Spean, the river with a thousand lingas. A 45-minute walk through the forest will allow you to discover the Hindu representations carved in the river bed.

Lunch – FREE – At your own expense

You will be picked up by your driver and will cross the countryside along the Phnom Kulen mountain to reach the village of Beng Mealea and its temple still in a luxuriant jungle. You will climb the stones to discover this temple, a miniature of Angkor Wat, where was filmed the movie " the 2 brothers" of Jean-Jacques Annaud. Return to Siem Reap at the end of the day.

Suggestion of visits by Tuk-Tuk, by bike or by electric bike:

Continue to visit the temples of the Angkor archaeological site (Preah Khan, Phnom Bakheng, Ta Som, Mebon Oriental, Pre Rup, Banteay Kdei, Prasat Kravan, Batchum ...)

The archaeological site is open from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm and is located 7 km from Siem Reap city which leaves you free to go back for the whole day or just for sunset at the Pre Rup temple for example.

Discover the Picnic Khmer style: Located 15Km away from Siem Reap, the Western Baray, an enormous 8Km long by 2 Km wide reservoir, is the favorite place for families to enjoy a picnic, bathe and rest in the hammocks of bamboo huts.

Visit local craft workshops (sculptors, silk farm, spices and incense, puppet workshop, pottery, lotus fiber weaving, ...)


Breakfast at the hotel.

Your driver will wait for you in front of the hotel to transfer you to the Tonle Sap Lake, the greatest lake of Cambodia. By public boat you will cruise on the lake and go up the Sangker River along the flooded forests and cross the fishermen’s floating villages.. Transfer to the hotel by Tuk-Tuk and enjoy the rest of the day at your convenience.

The great market of Psar Nat

The remains of the colonial houses around the market and along the Sangker River which crosses the city.

The small museum of the city and its Angkorian sculptures.

DAY 06 : BATTAMBANG - Phnom Sampeaou and Phnom Banan

Departure from the hotel with your guide, you will go through the countryside to discover the different productions of fruits of this province considered as the rice granary of the country. At the end of the morning you will climb the steps of Phnom Banan hill to admire this small temple surrounded by frangipani trees.

Lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon you will head towards Phnom Sampeaou to visit the pagodas and caves at the top of this hill that overlooks the surrounding area and offers a panoramic view of the rice paddies. You will end this day with a ride on a draisine, a motorized bamboo platform, used by the locals as a mean of transport on the railway line dating from the colonial era. Visit of a village located in the middle of the rice fields and its bricks. On the way back you will admire sunset over the rice paddies.

Suggestion of visits by foot or by tuktuk:

Visit to an Apsara dance school that trains young Cambodians to preserve their ancestral culture.

Walk along the banks through the esplanade in front of the Royal Palace. Possibility to do a cruise to reach the confluence of the Tonle Bassac River and the Mekong river at the end of the day.

Visit of the Russian market known for its antiquities.

Day 08 : PHNOM PENH  

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure from the hotel by rickshaw through the animated districts of the city (1h30 by rickshaw). For a moment you will appreciate the serenity of Wat Ounalom, founded in 1443, this pagoda is the center of the Cambodian Buddhism. You will then cross the district of the old colonial administrative city (cadaster, post office, police station, customs) dating from the end of the 19th century. You will arrive at the bottom of the hill of Wat Phnom, the most emblematic pagoda of the city. Visit this sanctuary surrounded by eclectic monuments. You will continue to the Central Market which was built in 1937 and has a bold vault and four arms and numerous openings ensuring an exceptional ventilation.

Lunch in Romdeng restaurant of the ONG Friends.

In the afternoon, visit of the Royal Palace. In the compound of the Royal Palace, the king's main residence, visit the Silver Pagoda, paved with 500 silver blocks of 1kg, each. It houses the frescoes inspired by the Ramayana and other treasures of the crown as well as a very beautiful collection of Buddha. You will visit the National Museum. In an elegant building built in 1917 by a French architect in the Khmer style, the Museum of Fine Arts, a large and elegant red building, presents rich collections of the Khmer art, including statuary. Very beautiful collections of sculptures and bronzes from the 6th century to the 14th century, many of which come from Angkor.

Your driver will wait for you in front of the hotel to drive you through the provinces of Takeo and Kampot to your bungalow on the banks of Kampot River. End of day free at leisure.

Suggestion of visits by Tuk-Tuk, by bike or by boat:

Visit of the town of Kampot: This charming village located at the foot of the impressive mountain of Bokor and along the river that bears its name as a new building of the colonial era. Its market is renowned for sellers of pepper and fish.

Boat trip on the river of Kampot with a possibility of kayaking in a sumptuous meander lined with tropical vegetation: "la boucle verte". Once night falls you will admire some trees that border the river illuminated with thousands of fireflies.

Bike ride on the pathway along the river. You will cross the villages of the Cham community and discover the many fruit trees that make the province famous.

Departure from the hotel by private car to reach the surroundings of Kep and its plantations of pepper and fruit trees. Then, enjoy some time to walk around the crab market to discover the local culinary specialties before embarking a fisherman's boat to reach Koh Tonsay, also called the rabbit island (30 min.) and its white sandy beaches. Swim or enjoy a rest on the beach before lunch.

In the afternoon enjoy some rest and swim on the island. Return to Kampot late afternoon and transfer to the hotel.

Suggestion of visit by motorbike or by tuktuk:

- Discover the Bokor: The ascent through the winding road allows you to enjoy the view of the surrounding coastline. The summit of the Bokor is now arranged with a brand new casino but in spite of that, there are the remains of the old buildings that made the reputation of the place. The dense rainforest of this wetland has exceptional flora and fauna as well as numerous waterfalls, some of which are now accessible by road.

- Discover the salt mines as well as the many caves in this area made with karstic rocks.


Transfer by private car from the hotel to Phnom Penh International Airport.
