Let us guide you on a family trip to the temples of Angkor, to taste the local Khmer food, to discover the hidden corners and charm of Angkor on a bike ride. Many occasions will be given for you to encounter authentic smiling people and get a close the country’s main highlights.

On arrival, you are greeted by your English-speaking guide. You set off directly to explore the countryside by electric bike. After a short training (Basic safety and usage rules of the pedal-free bicycles) you will slowly leave the town to reach the laterite tracks lined with coconut and bamboo trees that crisscross the countryside. At the end of a sandy track, you will discover a pagoda with a small Angkorian temple. Then reach a hamlet surrounded by rice fields where you will discover artisanal basketry traditions and elders who still wear traditional clothes. You will continue this journey with the preparation of your lunch. A Cambodian chef will introduce you to the preparation of typical dishes such as green mango salad, Amok or traditional soup.
At noon you will taste the prepared dishes.
In the afternoon you will take your vehicle and go through the flooded and fertile areas to reach the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest lake in Southeast Asia. You will then embark on a wooden boat to discover the lake and its floating houses, in the lakeside village of Metchrey. Observation of different fishing techniques as well as crocodile and fish breeding. You will continue your navigation to reach the middle of the lake which stretches as far as the eye can see before returning to your vehicle.

Departure with tuk tuk from your hotel to reach the archaeological site early in the morning with a French archaeologist. You will use it as a guide to discovering the temple of Angkor Wat, from where King Suryavarman II reigned over the Kingdom of Cambodia from 1113 to 1152. The pyramid plan of the temple, combined with the vast perspectives skillfully arranged indicates a mastery of composition never equaled. An original way to understand the history of the great builders of one of the largest Hindu temples ever built in the world.

The afternoon is spent resting and exploring the city. Relaxing massage to whet your appetite ...
"Street-food" evening: you leave for an atypical and original discovery through the city and its craft markets. You take advantage of this experience to test many local culinary flavors. Emotions of all kinds guaranteed.

Breakfast at the village.
You will leave Siem Reap early (7:00 am / 1h30 drive) to reach the community forest of Bos Thom at the foot of the Phnom Kulen mountain; The sanctuary of the last Angkor elephants.
A walk will take you to the base camp where the group (12 people max.) will receive the first instructions for this morning dedicated to meeting the last captive elephants of Cambodia (14 on-site, out of 75 captive elephants in whole Cambodia). With the help of your local Cambodian guide, you will be able to approach them safely while walking on the 445 hectares of the protected site (slow walk-in animal company 1h). The preparation of the meal of the pachyderms will be an opportunity to discover the different plantations and seasonal crops.
Lunch at the community base.
You travel by car with your guide to reach the small temple of Banteay Srei, a gem of 10th century Khmer art, with beautiful carved pink sandstone. And your day will end with a sun set at the most majestic temple, Angkor Wat. From there King Suryavarman II reigned over the Kingdom of Cambodia from 1113 to 1152.
